•    The Accompanying Person Fee includes the following:

Congress Bag and Programme, Multifaith Celebration, Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and access to Exhibition, Shuttle service from official congress hotels to the ICC and a complimentary half day tour.

Due to the fluctuating exchange rate between the South African Rand and the EURO, the ICM Executive has decided that fees will be based only on the South African Rand rate from the Early Bird Rate date commencing 1 July 2010. There has been no change to this Rand fee.

During the Bonus Discount period, until 30 June 2010 both Euro and Rand rates were retained but calculations will be made in South African Rand at an exchange rate which will be identified on the web site and adjusted periodically in consideration of exchange rate fluctuations.

 
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENT
• All invoices will be issued in South African Rand.
• Payments can be made in the following ways: Bank Transfer, Credit Card (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX)
• Once we have received your registration form, an invoice will be sent to you for payment. Please note that 14% VAT( the current rate in South Africa) is included on the invoice.
• If we do not receive your payment before the stated deadlines, you will automatically be charged the later fee.
• No government orders will be accepted as means of payment

BANK CHARGES
• Please be advised that should your payment incur bank charges then these charges will be for the delegates own account.
• If you are paying by bank transfer or depositing funds, please ensure that a copy of your proof of payment is faxed to + 27 31 303 9529 or emailed to info@midwiferysa.co.za. This is to ensure that the payment is allocated correctly to your account.

STUDENT MIDWIFE**

A student midwife is defined as a person pursuing a recognized programme of study leading to a qualification as a midwife, approved by the regulatory authority in the country, in line with the ICM definition of a midwife. The name of the training institution or college attended is required with the stage of study (eg 2nd year).

CANCELLATIONS

Delegates unable to attend the 29th ICM Triennial Congress after having paid their registration fees must provide a written request for a refund. Please email The Conference Company at info@midwiferysa.co.za. All approved refunds will be issued after the congress.
• Participants cancelling on or before the 04th December 2010 a cancellation fee of R750.00 will be deducted from all refunds. All refunds will only be processed after the Congress.
• Participants cancelling between 5th December 2010 and 1st March 2011 will receive 50% refund minus an administration fee of R750.00. Alternatively, the registration may be transferred to a new delegate. However a 10% substitution admin fee will be applicable.
• For cancellations received on or after 2nd March 2011, NO refunds will be made under any circumstances.

LIABILITY

For reasons beyond its control the ICM 29th Triennial Congress and/or its Agents, the Conference Company and/or its agents have the right to immediately alter or cancel the Congress or any of the arrangements, plans, timetables, sessions or any other items directly or indirectly relating to the 29th Triennial Congress.  Participants shall not be entitled to return of fees or any compensation for damages that may result from any change, alteration or cancellation.  Furthermore, with the exception of any wilful damage or gross negligence committed by the ICM 29th Congress and/or its agents the Conference Company and or its agents, neither the ICM 29th Congress nor its agents The Conference Company and/or its agents shall at any time be liable for any direct or indirect damage suffered by the participants including consequential and immaterial damage, caused by failure to comply with any provision of this document.  It is highly recommended that all participants carry proper travel and health insurance.
